cruise control is my beeeeest friend

seconding this, i found out my cars cruise control is barely functional while on a road trip that was 12 hours each way. i think even the short times i was able to get cruise control to work probably saved me

I have a bad day if my cruise control doesnt work in my delivery van at work

there are some people who refuse to use it which drives me up the wall as a person that uses it actually anytime I'm driving a consistent speed for more than 2 minutes

truest statement ever. i had a friend that lived in the desert & would put on cruise control & drive with his knees because the roads were so straight and flat

Dallas is a city in Texas so that's the first problem. The next problem is that it has the worst traffic because of how many people are living there despite it being a giant sprawl of car-centric highways. It also has culturally nothing going for it, it just sits there and takes up space

thank you for sharing! I've been wanting to do a project like this for a while but wasn't sure the best way to go about it. If you're interested in other offline tech I would look into meshtastic or meshcore!! not sure which is best yet. It's a way to communicate and "text" totally offline without any reliance on cell towers or internet. It's another project I want to tinker with for when SHTF... lol

Oh yeah I heard of those! From what I recall, Meshcore or another non-Meshtastic protocol is the better one. I gotta try that at some point
