I'm genuinely curious why Mao always gets grouped in with the other, much more thoughtful Communist writers. He never contributed anything of value imo.

around 100 pages can range from interesting experiment to writer-defining, 200 pages is when you have something to stay but not enough to warrant overstaying your welcome, more than 300 and it better be a magnum opus worthy of the Library of Babel
that's a shame. you can only read up to 300 pages.
