if i were given to conspiracy theory i would say that tumblr only pretended to announce a bad new feature so it could smoke out transfems. since we seemed to be the only ones complaining about it and suddenly a whole shitload of trans blogs got terminated the same time they "walked back" the changes. but no. surely that is but a wild notion with no basis in fact <_<

oh its real all right. tumblr's ceo stalked a transfem on various different websites and even tried to have them arrested. since long before then, transphobes were being specifically sought out to be on tumblr's moderation staff. not sure how to take your "spoiled" comment tbh

i was basically numb throughout the event. i finally cried for a while. now my head is full of static. is this shell shock?
all i have on my mind rn are fragments of tv shows, memes, the chorus to an n64 song playing on loop. im struggling to write coherently through all the static.
all my brain can do at this stage is play an old Vine on repeat. "throw a bowl of rice throw a bowl of rice down... the stairs". maybe some kind of defence mechanism?
