optimising some of your images and gifs might help. what might be helpful is converting some of your pngs into gifs or jpgs as pngs tend to take up more space, and then you need to compress them a little

Yeah because that background image on your index alone is 1.85 MB, and if you convert it to a gif and then compress it you could probably cut that down to around 500 KiB which is still a lot for a background image but at least its not 1.85 MB

And even more so if you convert it into a jpg im just noticing, because when it's a jpg you can get it down to around 100 KB while still keeping some of the quality of the image
