@digitalhumus sorry i misclicked and deleted your comment as i wanted to like it! :( I agree though, some people will feel good about not checking all boxes - but now it made me dig deeper into the topics i didn't know about, with the footnotes shared? I did NOT know that "chatfishing"was a thing and i am so completely disgusted by it.... i really never want to open a dating app ever again, like wtf are we becoming?

It’s interesting but it doesn’t seem to be aimed at shaming people, since the first item is about knowing what AI is. It seems to have a more curious-but-critical approach (especially since it uses the framing of a puritan quiz)

To me it comes off more like a warning, since it starts with very common things (like Cleverbot), escalates into concerning things that are getting normalized, to get into the most worrying part at last. I like its approach, although it would be good if it clarified that not all AI is generative AI somewhere

@elu-isa, no problem! "chatfishing" is a very sad and dishonest thing to do. i think the more ai we use, the more we show that we undervalue ourselves and our skills and creativity. take ai generated art or text, for example. it destroys the creative process and takes away the chance from us to create our own, even if it has flaws (which ai also has, of course). but flaws are part of what we are too.
