This is very cool! I actually had a similar idea brewing in my brain recently. I wanted to make this sort of thing for a password manager extension so sort of like a ubikey but for everywhere. Maybe this setup could be forked for that?

yup, that could work! Simplest approach would be that you would use this script for device hosting your password manager and unlock not sudo but the manager!
